Maravia Bonaire
Welcome to Maravia!
The villa was built in 2005 and in recent years has become known mainly under the name “Villa Alcyone” or “Jack's Villa”.
In 2024 we bought the villa and renamed it Maravia Bonaire.
Maravia Bonaire is quietly situated in the Sabal Palm neighborhood. Just minutes from the Caribbean Sea, Kralendijk, supermarkets, the airport, and the road to Sorobon (surfing).
For over 20 years it has been a small and quiet holiday complex with 4 apartments, situated in a large tropical garden with swimming pool and outdoor shower
All apartments have 1 bedroom (incl. air conditioning), 1 bathroom and a kitchen/living area.
Three of the four apartments have their own terrace and the communal garden also offers a number of options for sitting outside.
The perfect place to relax after a beautiful day on the island.
With our personal presence on the complex, we ensure that you lack nothing and that your stay is carefree.
Maravia Bonaire
Who are we?
We are Misja, Natalie, and Jasper. All in our 50s.
Our friendship goes back 20 years, first sparked by our daughters playing together. Over the years, in addition to our daily contact, we've spent many holidays together. Misja's family has three children, and Jasper and Natalie's family has two. All five children are now adults.
Our love for the Caribbean began a long time ago. Travels in recent years to the ABC Islands, Sint Maarten, Tobago, and South America have further strengthened this. The importance of eating together, the pace, enjoying the outdoors, and the wind in our hair (or what's left of it) still make us very happy every time.
A native of Achterhoek, living in the tropics. I was captivated by Aruba, where I spent a significant portion of my adolescence in the 1980s (of the last century...). After my children and Natalie, friends and family, sports and music are the most important things in my life. I enjoy running, soccer, golf, and fitness. For over 25 years, I've held fantastic jobs with great companies in the Netherlands. Now I'm looking forward to hosting guests, tending the garden, doing plenty of snorkeling and diving, and ensuring all our guests on Bonaire have a wonderful stay. Hope to see you at Maravia Bonaire!

I am Misja: mother, widow. I live and work in Zoetermeer. Despite (and perhaps also because of) a number of sad events, I have a positive and open view of life. Life is too short not to be lived! I am not a sit-in and I do not shy away from a challenge. That is why I am very much looking forward to our joint adventure on Bonaire. The atmosphere, the people and the (underwater) nature have stolen my heart. I would like to share this with you. Let's make something beautiful out of it together!

Hello! I am Natalie. Born in Brazil, but have been living in the Netherlands for many years. My children were born there, live there with great pleasure and are now adults. I love to travel and am always looking for the most beautiful places. That is how we landed on Bonaire a few years ago and have now been able to make it our second home. I hope that many people will come and enjoy this beautiful island with us and be welcome in our relaxed holiday apartments!

The apartment is well located especially when you go diving. The garden is very nice with a nice pool. The beds sleep well and there is air conditioning, wonderful.

We had a great holiday and enjoyed the beautiful Airbnb.
Just having breakfast in the morning, surrounded by all kinds of chirping birds in the garden.
We highly recommend this stay and if the opportunity arises we will definitely return.

The apartments are fantastic. The breeze blows through nicely. It was very clean, neat and tidy. I really appreciated the king size bed. The gardens and pool are so peaceful, it is your own back garden. For diving equipment there are rinse tanks and drying racks. I highly recommend staying here.
